Republic Commando Level Playthrough

Blocktober 2021 challenge 

Every year on Twitter this is a challenge called Blocktober, this is where Environment artists, Level designers and more come together for the month of October and design blockouts for games they love!

I gave myself the time span of 3 days from start to finish to make this level you see above, from concept stage, paper designs and final.

With this being a 3 day project there obviously will be lots and lots of room for polish and changes but I wanted to leave this untouched after the 3 days otherwise it would defeat the purpose and is more so than anything, a proof of concept of what someone can do in 3 days if they put their mind to it!

The level puts the player in a fast pace, action packed thrill ride fighting the the war-torn and destroyed markets of an under siege planet.

Gather a huge variety of weaponry and take back the planet.

 

This was a really fun project to work on and I was very proud of the level of work that was achieved over the weekend.

Role

With this being a 3 day project I was at the front of all the roles needed.

The only thing I didn't make was the A.I systems and weapons, these were made through pre-existing assets otherwise the project wouldn't of being achievable in 3 days.
